Signed Proclamation from Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle

On October 1, 2020, Mayor Tommy Battle celebrated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) with Phoenix and the city of Huntsville.

Phoenix hosted a virtual conference to continue its annual celebration of the ADA and NDEAM.  This year’s celebration was online due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.  The event’s speakers included Phoenix CEO David Perez, Chairman Greg Gaddy and Vice Chairperson Kenny Anderson.  Each speaker addressed the month’s significance while viewers eagerly awaited Mayor Battle’s online reveal.

The Proclamation acknowledged October’s importance and Phoenix’s mission.  The official document is concluded by encouraging Huntsville citizens to support residents with disabilities.
